A key investment for European low-carbon logistics
The MODALIS Group and Dunkerque-Port are taking a new step towards low-carbon logistics with the implementation of the 1st era
stone of a piggyback terminal that represents an investment of 25 million euros. Built in record time, this intermodal site will connect Dunkirk to major European industrial basins by rail.
Objective: transfer up to 50,000 transport units per year from road to rail and avoid the emission of 70,000 tons of CO. A strategic project for the competitiveness and energy transition of the Hauts-de-France region.
